"Christmas is coming, and this year our church will continue its participation in Operation Christmas Child. Samaritan's Purse, an international relief, and evangelical organization sponsor Operation Christmas Child. The shoeboxes filled with practical gifts and sent to countries and regions affected by war, poverty, and institutions like orphanages. It has touched hundreds of children's lives in many countries since the 1990s, making Christian love a reality at Christmas, and many lives have changed as a result. Thank God, we collected 52 boxes of presents last year.

We are looking forward to more this year!"

There are several ways to get involved in this meaningful activity:

1. The children's department especially encourages parents to bring their children in person to shop for practical gifts to fill in a shoe box prepared by the church and bring it to the church on Friday 11/22. Parents are encouraged to share the meaning of this activity with their children during preparation.

2. Donate specific items to the church (as requested by the organization) before Friday, 11/22. These items can be placed in a collection bin in front of the lobby.

3. Donate money for Shipping, please mark  "Shoe Box and put it in the Offering Box. The freight rate per shoebox is US9.00.

Please note that the collection period ends Friday night, November 22nd, the teenagers will pack the shoeboxes that night.
